Patient Visit Policies


PATIENT VISIT POLICIES 


Please understand that SHI does not overbook our schedule to cover for patients cancelling at the last minute or not showing up. We reserve your appointment time for you specifically. If you cancel with less than 3 hours notice, do not show up, are very late, or cannot stay to complete your visit - that is lost opportunity that another patient could have used to be treated & lost revenue for the practice. We understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life, but in our desire to be fair to all patients and maintain a viable practice, the following policies are honored.

CANCELLATIONS 

Three hour advance notice is required when cancelling any appointments. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment that may have been waiting for an opening to appear. If you are unable to give us 3 hours notice you will be charged a $20.00 cancellation fee per appointment scheduled that day. This amount must be paid prior to your next scheduled appointment. 

NO SHOWS

If your schedule changes and you cannot keep your appointment, please contact us so we can reschedule you. Failure to contact the office, is considered a "no show". A $20.00 fee is charged for all "No-Shows". 

LATE ARRIVALS 

If you arrive late for an appointment, your visit will be shortened and end at the originally scheduled time.  Appointments are twenty minutes long. If you arrive ten minutes after your appointment schedule time, you will need to reschedule. 

LEAVING WITHOUT COMPLETING TREATMENT 

No refunds will be granted for leaving treatment before completion.
