PATIENT VISIT POLICIES

Please understand that Spinal Health Institute does not overbook our schedule to cover for patients cancelling at the last minute or not showing up.

We reserve your appointment time for you specifically.

If you cancel with less than 3 hours notice, do not show up, are very late, or cannot stay to complete your visit- that is lost opportunity that another patient could have used to be treated & lost revenue for the practice.

We understand unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone's life, but in our desire to be fair to all patients and maintain a viable practice, the following policies are honored. 

CANCELLATIONS

3 Hour advance notice is required when cancelling any appointment. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment that may have been waiting for an opening to appear. If you are unable to give us 3 hours notice you will be charged a 20.00 cancellation fee per appointment scheduled that day. This amount must be paid prior to your next scheduled appointment. 

NO SHOWS

Anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to not arrive for their appointment for whatever reason will be considered a "No-Show" and will be charged a 20.00 fee per appointment scheduled that day. This amount must be paid prior to your next scheduled appointment. 

LATE ARRIVALS

If you happen to arrive late for an appointment, your visit will likely be shortened and end at the originally scheduled time in order to accommodate other patients whose appointments follow yours. 

Depending upon how late you arrive, your doctor will have to determine if there is enough time remaining to start your treatment.

Regardless of the length of treatment provided, once the session begins with the team at check in, you will be responsible for the full amount of your scheduled appointment. 

Out of respect and consideration for your doctor and other patients please plan accordingly and be on time. 

LEAVING WITHOUT COMPLETING TREATMENT

If you happen to have another obligation arise or are otherwise unable to complete the session, your visit may be cut short at your discretion.  

Regardless of the length of treatment provided, once the session begins with the team at check in, you will be responsible for the full amount of your scheduled appointment. 

Out of respect and consideration for your doctor and other patients, please allow as much as 20 minutes additional in case it's required to complete the session.
